Sundarraj P. Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range told that the relationship between the police and the public is getting stronger through the "Bastar Ta Mata" campaign being conducted by the Bastar Police in the past.

Selfie Corner has been made in the exhibition stall of Jagdalpur Palace Road, in which the cut-out of Bastar Police personnel remains the center of attraction.

In the local Gondi language "Bastar Ta Mata" means "Voice of Bastar". Under this campaign, by establishing contact with the local people in the forest area by the police and security forces of Bastar division, to make the public aware about the good work being done by the government, local administration, police and security forces in the interest of the people of the area. Simultaneously, the anti-people and anti-development face of the banned CPI-Maoist organization is being exposed.



In the continuation of “Bastar Ta Mata” campaign, exhibition stalls have been set up by Bastar Police at various places under the division like Madai, Mela, Dussehra event venue etc. In all those exhibitions, a large number of people of the area are reaching to get the benefit of the information being presented by Bastar Police. Welcoming the visitors to the exhibition, all the information is being made available to them by the police officers on duty and the members of the force.

With these cut-outs, the good work of the police is being appreciated by the youth, girls, women, children and elders by making photos and videos with enthusiasm and affinity.



It was informed by the Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range that in the coming days, Bastar Police would work as a bridge between the government, administration and the public by organizing such exhibitions in other places of Bastar division.
