Chhattisgarh (South Bastar Dantewada-Bacheli) Om Prakash Singh. Terror of Naxalites- On the night of 26 November at around 09:00, rail traffic was disrupted by Naxalites on the Kirandul Visakhapatnam line by uprooting the tracks.
Naxalites have uprooted the track and crashed a goods train going from Kirandul to Visakhapatnam. It is being told that 3 engines and 19 bogies of the goods train have derailed. This incident happened on the night of 26 November around 09:00.
There are also reports of banners being put up by Naxalites. According to the information received from the sources, the Naxalites escaped after carrying out this incident at km 422. The incident was carried out in Kamalur under Bhansi police station area. Due to which the operation of trains on the KK line has been disrupted. The Maoists had thrown pamphlets and banners at the site of the incident, which were recovered by the force.
Bhairamgarh Area Committee protested against the incident of killing of Naxalites in the Gadchiroli area by police and Naxal encounters and called for Bharat Bandh on 27 November.
Dantewada Superintendent of Police Dr Abhishek Pallav said that this incident is the result of the anger of the Naxalites. Kirandul Visakhapatnam rail route will be restored soon. Force has been dispatched to the spot.
