Promotion order has been issued by Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspector to 237 Principal constables in Bastar division - IG, Sundarraj P.
Chhattisgarh ( Bastar-Jagdalpur) Om Prakash Singh. According to the instructions issued by the Government of Chhattisgarh and the rules issued by the Police Headquarters, promotion orders were issued on 16.12.2021 by Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector in Bastar division to 237 Principal constables.
In the district under Bastar division, 37 from Bastar, 25 from Dantewada, 52 from Kanker, 37 from Bijapur, 35 from Narayanpur, 22 from Sukma and 29 from Kondagaon have been appointed as assistant sub-inspector according to seniority order. Promotion has been given to the post of Inspector.
It is noteworthy that for promotion against the vacant post of Assistant Sub-Inspector, departmental promotion examination was conducted in the past. Pre-promotion training was organized in Police Training School, Lalbagh Jagdalpur to the head constables found qualified in the departmental promotion examination process.
Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range Sundarraj P. while congratulating all the employees promoted to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, said that for the first time in Bastar division, 237 head constables were simultaneously promoted to the post of Assistant Sub Inspector, not only the morale of the soldiers increased. Rather, along with the efficiency of the jawans, there will be a positive change in the work related to law and order, prevention of crimes, investigation of cases, Naxal operations and policing.
It is noteworthy that in the next one or two days against the vacancies arising after the completion of the promotion process from the head constable to the post of assistant sub-inspector, about 1050 constables under Bastar division are related to the post of head constable. Promotion orders will be issued by the Superintendents of Police.
