Through various sources local Police is getting information about alleged  killing of three persons by CPI Maoists in the interior areas of Gangaloor-IG,Sundarraj P.।

Chhattisgarh ( Bijapur-Gangalur ) Om Prakash Singh. As per the avialable information,  primafacie it appears that  on 06th of January,  Maoists have  killed two of their own cadre Kamlu Punem (militia Platoon Conmander) along with Miliita member Mangi.

Both Kamlu and Mangi left the naxal camp inorder to get married.

It is worth mentioning that Kamlu Punem has 11 cases  pending agaisnt him and Mangi Punem is wanted in 03 cases. Both were involved in various Maoist activities in Gangaloor Area Committee.

Right now we don't have details about the third person.

Bijapur Police is trying to gather more information in this regard.

According to Sundarraj P, Inspector General of Police Bastar Range due to series of setbacks in the last couple of years, the Maoist camp is highly frustrated and became totally directionless.

They have started killing their own cadres on mere suspicion and intolerance.

Particularly in West Bastar Division this kind of incidents are on rise. In September 2020 senior Maoist cadre Vijja was also killed by his own cadres.

All these developments indicates, that the CPI Maoist formations are in a self destructive mode. Police is keeping a close watch over the situation.
