Green Care Society India organises UNESCO International Education Festival 2022

"Changing Courses, Transforming Education" was the theme for IED 2022

Amujuri Biswanath from Dantewada, India participated in the Educational Conference by Learning Planet Institute Paris France, Bettencourt Schuler Foundation, Paris University.

Green Care Society India organised 2022 International Education Festival from 24 January to 7 February in collaboration with United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO on the occasion of International Education Day through online and offline platforms. Schools, educational institutions were all closed in Dantewada district due to COVID19 pandemic. 



Education awareness program was organized in village Jawanga of Geedam block of Dantewada district. Understanding the great need of education in the society, Amujuri Biswanath, Director of Green Care Society India and International Teacher Liaison Officer reached the village Jawanga and exhibited the posters of "Educate Dantewada, Educate Chhattisgarh and Educate India", Fundamental Rights to Education for all and distributed the Mathematical skills books, Constitution of India book, biscuits to the children. 



International Education Festival 2022 conducted by Green Care Society India in association with UNESCO and in support with Indian Science Congress Association, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, National Council of Teacher Scientific India, Raman Science and Technology Foundation, Dr. A.P.J.  Abdul Kalam Council of Young Scientists, Igniting Dreams of Young Minds Foundation India, All India Ramanujan Maths Club and Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga. 



Shobharam Nishad, recipient of Governor's Education Award and Head Master of Government Middle School Jawanga said that education should be provided to the children who are deprived of education by making aware to uneducated parents and such education awareness programs should be organized in every villages in the state. Amujuri Biswanath from Dantewada, Chhattisgarh, India participated in an education conference on the theme of "Learning to Care of Oneself, Others and the Planet"organized by Learning Planet Institute Paris France, UNESCO, Bettencourt Schueller Foundation, University of Paris. 



In which 22342 people of 262 institutions from 163 countries discussed about education and learning in 446 disciplines. Dr Vishwanath Panigrahi, Founder & President Green Care Society India said that United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 Quality Education must be strengthen as a public endeavor, the common good, drive digital transformation and make equal quality education available to all. 



Director Amujuri Biswanath said that this year International Education Festival event was a platform to showcase the most important changes that were nurtured to build an inclusive, peaceful future and skill training education provided a platform for livelihood. In this program, members of the organization Iswari Prasad Nayak, Rahul Markam, Rudra Vijay Udgirwar, Parvati Kashyap, Suman Das, teachers of Government Middle School, Jawanga and children of the village were present.
