UNESCO set the theme of "Mathematics Unites" for 2022 International Mathematics Day

International Mathematics Day scheme is being operated in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO, International Mathematical Union, Imaginary Organization and Klaus Tsira Stiftung. March 14 is celebrated as International Mathematics Day and Pi Day, signifying the math constant Pi (π) whose value is 3.14 world wide approved. 



The theme of IDM 2022, "Mathematics Unites" was set by UNESCO as part of the activities of the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development 2022 including UNESCO toolkit "Mathematics for action: Supporting science-based decision making".  World wide 1430 including 5 programs are being organized officially in India. 



Amujuri Biswanath, teacher at Aastha Vidya Mandir of Dantewada, Chhattisgarh and life member of the Indian Science Congress Association, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India has been recieved the official authorisation of International Mathematical Union and IDM314 organization to organize the programs globally through online and offline. Amujuri Biswanath, the only one organizer from Chhattisgarh said that various activities will be shared about the use and need of mathematics in human life through knowledge and skills. International Mathematics Fortnight 2022 is being organized in association with
Indian Science Congress Association, All India Ramanujan Maths Club, Aastha Vidya Mandir Jawanga, National Council of Teacher Scientific India, Raman Science and Technology Foundation, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam National Council of Young Scientists and Igniting Dreams of Young Minds Foundation India and Panigrahi General Studies Foundation Durg. It is being organised at free of cost for students, mathematics lovers, teachers, professional persons, scientists and general public from March 14 to 28 through various webinars, competitions, projects and awards. This program got consent from 16 international organisations, councils and commissions. World's great scientist, physicist and Nobel laureate Albert Einstein was remembered on his 143rd birth anniversary.
