Geedam Block Level Youth Festival 2022 Concluded with Joy



•Winners will perform their talent in district level youth festival.



Chhattisgarh(Geedam/Dantewada) Om Prakash Singh. Geedam Block Level Youth Festival for the year 2022-23 concluded with very delightful and enthusiasm. This was organised by the Education Department Geedam in collaboration with the Dantewada District Sports and Youth Welfare Department from 18 to 19 November 2022 at the Education City Auditorium, Jawanga, Geedam on the orders of the Department of Sports and Youth Welfare, Government of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. 



In the closing ceremony the chief guest Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee member Chhabindra Karma, special guest Geedam Block Congress Committee Vice President Ravish Surana and other public representatives said that the Chhattisgarh government has contributed in the development of the state along with education in the field of art, culture, sports and youth welfare. 



Program Nodal Officer cum Assistant Block Education Officer Geedam Bhavani Punem, Assistant Nodal Officer cum Block Resource Coordinator Geedam Jitendra Sharma, BMC Anil Sharma while encouraging the players and artists said that the hidden talent and creativity of the youth were seen in the youth festival. 



 Experienced experts NK Sharma, Surajbhan Singh, Rampyare Dewangan, Headmaster Farhana Rizvi, Senior teachers Amujuri Biswanath, Sita Singh, SR Kadati, Mahendra Mandvi, Superintendent Pramod Karma, Superintendent Prabha Yalam, Pawan Kashyap judged cultural and intellectual competitions fairly and names of the winners were announced. Cluster coordinators Jitendra Chauhan, Nitin Vishwakarma, Yogesh Soni, Laxman Sahu, Jeevan Thakur managed the stage by welcoming the guests and helped in prize distribution. PTI Rajnees Oswal, Ajay Singh, Komal Singh and Naina organized sports competitions in a systematic manner.



 Youths of Astha Vidya Mandir Jawanga, Government Adarsh ​​College  Jawanga, Government Girls Higher Secondary School Geedam and Saksham School were the maximum winners. In this youth festival, sports competitions, various types of traditional cultural competitions, intellectual competitions were organized in the age group of 15-40 years and above 40 years of age, in which youth participated very enthusiastically. 



The winners were honored with prizes. Block winners will present their skills in the district level youth festival.  All cluster coordinators, teachers, superintendents gave their participation in health care, cleanliness, arrangement of food and refreshments. More than 1500 youth took part in this programme.
