INSPIRE Award District Level Exhibition and Project Competition started at Astha Vidya Mandir Jawanga Dantewada



Children and teachers from Dantewada, Sukma, Bijapur and Narayanpur districts participated in the competition.

INSPIRE Award MANAK District Level Exhibition and Project Competition (DLEPC) was started under the joint auspices of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India and Innovation Foundation of India for the year 2021-22 at Astha Vidya Mandir English Medium School located in Jawanga Education City of Geedam of Dantewada district. A two days program is being organized by School Education Department, Dantewada, in which 128 participants from Dantewada district, 91 participants from Sukma district, 51 participants from Bijapur district and 27 participants from Narayanpur district participated. 



The objective of the INSPIRE Award MANAK scheme of the Government of India is to advance the creative and innovative thinking of the students at the national level by obtaining original innovation ideas for science and social utility. This year, Chhattisgarh has been ranked fourth in the nominations in the whole of India. Chief guest Chhabindra Karma member of the Chhattisgarh Congress Committee, while observing the project model made by the children encouraged and wished them to bring laurels to the district and the state with new energy. 



Special guests Geedam Nagar Panchayat President Sakshi Surana, Jawanga Sarpanch Aarti Kowasi, former Sarpanch Bomda Ram Kowasi, Geedam block Vice President Maniram Hapka, Sarpanch Bade Paneda Ram Pal Wake, National Innovation Foundation Engineer Swaraj Parida looking at the model in the exhibition said that Chhattisgarh and Dantewada have long vision of innovation and new inventions of child scientists will make daily life tasks accessible to people. Dantewada District Education Officer Pramod Thakur, District Mission Coordinator Shyamlal Sori, Inspire Award District Nodal Officer Devendra Soni supervised the program and gave guidelines to conduct properly. 



It is a matter of great pride that Bharat, student of Bacheli and Indu Manikpuri, student of Geedam were awarded the Dr. Abdul Kalam Ignite Award for innovation by the then President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhawan New Delhi. Sagar Bhaskar, student of Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School, Jawanga and Lakke, student of Cholnar of Dantewada district participated in the National Level Exhibition and Project Competition (NLEPC) of INSPIRE Awards MANAK. In this program, APC Rajendra Pandey, Kesav Singh, Aastha Vidya Mandir Principal Gopal Pandey, All Block Education Officers, All Assistant Block Education Officers, All Block Resource Coordinators, All Cluster Coordinators, Project Specialist Amujuri Biswanath, Accountant Manish Sahu, Superintendent Raviprakash Thakur, Office bearer Manish Karma and teachers attended the programme.
