CHHATTISGARH ( Bastar / Jagdalpur) Om Prakash Singh . Honble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel unfurled the national flag in the historical Lalbagh Parade ground of Jagdalpur and witnessed the fourteen platoon strong parade.
Participation of Bastar Fighters recruits including that of thrid gender recruits for the first time was the major attraction during the Republic Day 2023 parade in Jagdalpur.
Honble Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and other dignitaries dedicated Amar Vaatika to Public, in memory of the martyrs of police and security personnel as well as those citizens who has made supreme sacrifice for peace and development of Bastar region.
Amar Vaatika memorial in Jagdalpur comprises of an elegant Saheed Samarak pillar, memorial wall with names of martyrs and a memorial garden.
Member of Parliament Bastar Lokshaba Shri Deepak Baij, MLA Jagdalpur Rekchand Jain, Mayor Jagdalpur Smt Safira Sahu, Commisioner Bastar Shyam Tawade, Inspector General of Bastar Range Sundarraj P, Collector Bastar Chandan Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jitendra Meena and other dignitaries were also present during the events conducted on the eve of Republic Day 2023.
In other parts of Sukma, Bijapur, Dantewada, Bastar, Narayanpur, Kondagaon and Kanker Districts of Bastar Range also the Republic Day 2023 Was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm.
