75 students from Chhattisgarh & Odisha participate in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023 workshop in Jawanga.



150 Pico Satellite Launch mark in World Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, Assist Book of Records.



Dantewada is the first district in the country from Chhattisgarh where max. 75 students are in Dr. Kalam Satellite Mission at free of cost.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023 is being launched by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, House of Kalam in collaboration with Space Zone India and Martin Group. Recently this program was officially launched by the Governor of Telangana, His Excellency Dr Tamilisai Sundararajan. 



150 Pico satellites are being launched through rockets together participation of the students of schools and colleges across the country. On this occasion, a one-day workshop on satellite and rocketry was organized by Astha Vidya Mandir English Medium School Jawanga at  auditorium in Jawanga, Geedam of Dantewada district. 



The chief guest  Pramod Thakur District Education Officer Dantewada, special guests  Shyamlal Sori District Mission Coordinator, APC Rajendra Pandey, Sheikh Rafiq Block Education Officer Geedam, Bhavani Punem Assistant Block Education Officer Geedam and Gopal Pandey Principal were present in the program. 



They said that now Dantewada will have a new identity in the field of space and rocketry, which will set a world record. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation General Secretary Milind Chowdhary said that on the occasion of the country's 75th Independence Day, a pico satellite rocket made by a total of 75 students from the states of Chhattisgarh and Odisha will be launched, whose standard will be registered in World Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records, Assist Book of Records. Its full details will be handed over to Her Excellency President of India Draupadi Murmu and Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. 



Workshop organizer Chhattisgarh and Odisha State Co-ordinator Amujuri Biswanath said that Dantewada is the first district in the country from Chhattisgarh where maximum 75 students are participating in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Satellite Launch Vehicle Mission 2023 at free of cost. 



A total of 75 students i.e. from Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, 22 students of Astha Vidya Mandir, 4 students of SAGES Karli, 4 students of SAGES Hindi Dantewada, 5 students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Geedam, 5 students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Geedam, 4 students of Saksham Residential Campus Jawanga, 11 students of NMDC DAV Polytechnic College Jawanga, 4 students of Government Model ​College Jawanga, 2 students of SVGES Jagdalpur, 3 students of SAGES Janjgiri Durg, 1 student of Government Kuldeep Nigam Higher Secondary School Narra Mahasamund and 5 students of Government High School Kotpad and 5 students of Government Girls High School Kotpad from Odisha are involved in this mission. While demonstrating satellite integration and rocketry, technical master trainers Manisha Tai Chowdhari and Aditya Chowdhari informed that pico satellites are installed at a height of 10 km from the earth. 



This will happen for the first time in the world when 150 pico satellites will be launched simultaneously, then a world record will be established. The data collected by these satellites will be used to gather information about oxygen, ozone and other gases present in the atmosphere. Dr. Kalam followers and PGT of Astha Vidya Mandir Jawanga, Amujuri Biswanath, students Amit Nag and Rahul Markam were honored with Excellence Award by APJM Sheikh Dawood and APJM Sheikh Salim from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation for special work. 



In this workshop, Mahesh Rajput, Nikhil Jambulkar, anchor Jitendra Chauhan, cluster coordinators Nitin Vishwakarma, Pradeep Garg, Yogesh Soni, Superintendent Raviprakash Thakur, HM Farhana Rizvi, Mahendra Mandvi, teachers of selected schools, parents and 75 students were present in this program.
