Chhattisgarh : Aastha's Amujuri Biswanath selected for National by achieving second in TLM in State Level West India Science Fair.



Chhattisgarh's 3 teachers will exhibit Teaching Learning Material in National Level Competition to be held in Mumbai.



State Level West India Science Fair was organized in Ambikapur by SCERT, CCOST and School Education Department Sarguja.



Chhattisgarh ( Geedam/Dantewada ) Om Prakash Singh. Teacher plays an important role in the teaching learning process to fulfill educational curriculum. Innovative teaching method is required for children to learn in an easy way in the changing times. To promote this, a 4-day State Level West India Science Fair on the topic "Science and Technology for Sustainable Future" for the year 2024-25 was organized grandly by the School Education Department Sarguja Division in collaboration with Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology and courtesy of State Council of Educational Research and Training Raipur at Saraswati Shiksha Mahavidyalaya Ambikapur. 



PGT Lecturer Amujuri Biswanath of Aastha Vidya Mandir English Medium School Jawanga Geedam of Dantewada zone presented mathematical 2D and 3D model TLM in the curriculum supporting educational material genre for class 8th to 12th,  Amujuri Biswanath secured second position at the state level for his excellent performance in the TLM genre on National New Education Policy, innovative teaching skills and practical presentation and he was selected for the national level teaching material competition to be held in Mumbai. The winner was felicitated by Sarguja MP Chintamani Maharaj and Ambikapur MLA Rajesh Agarwal by giving certificate and memento. 



Chhattisgarh Science & Technology Council and State Council of Educational Research and Training Raipur Additional Director JP Rath, Science Incharge Assistant Professor KK Shukla, School Education Department Sarguja Division Joint Director Sanjay Gupta along with professors of other reputed educational institutions, universities, M.Ed. B.Ed. D.Ed. and DIET training institutes also praised him. In this context Lecturer Amujuri Biswanath said that by using teaching aids in the classroom, mathematics can be explained to children in an easy way through innovative teaching skills in a practical way and teaching learning outcomes can be achieved.



Children can be interested in learning mathematics by using 2D and 3D practical models. Its practical use is very important in engineering, civil constructions, architecture, commerce, banking, business, etc. In this competition, lecturer Shahina Parveen of SAGES Kuakonda presented TLM on nervous system biology and lecturer Kanchan Singh of SAGES Karli Geedam presented TLM on motion physics. In the state level competition 27 teachers presented TLM in different subjects who got first, second and third places from 9 zones of Chhattisgarh. 



On this achievement, officials of District Administration Dantewada and District Education Officer Dantewada SK Ambasta, District Mission Coordinator Harish Gautam, Geedam Block Education Officer Sheikh Rafiq, DIET Dantewada Principal Shailesh Singh, Assistant Block Education Officer Bhavani Punem, Block Resource Coordinator Jitendra Singh Chauhan, Aastha Principal Gopal Pandey, Zonal Incharge Principal BB Chakravarty, all Cluster Coordinators and all the teachers gave congratulations and best wishes.
