Chhattisgarh : Geedam's Shailu and Bijapur's Harshit shines in Dantewada Zone Level Science Seminar.

• 2 winners are selected for State Level Science Seminar to be held in Bilaspur.

• First and Second winners were awarded with shield and certificate.

Chhattisgarh( Geedam/Dantewada ) Om Prakash Singh.Dantewada Zone Level Science Seminar was organized by District Administration and School Education Department Dantewada in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Raipur for the year 2024-25 at Swami Atmanand Government Excellent Hindi Medium School Dantewada on 2 October with the aim of creating awareness about scientific thinking and analytical tendency towards social welfare.

District Education Officer SK Ambasta and Organising Coordinator Principal BB Chakravarty started the program by lighting the lamp and garlanding flowers celebrating Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti. Principal BB Chakravarty gave information about objectives and features of the program. Selected students from all three districts Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma under Dantewada Zone presented science seminar lectures through PPT and posters on the topic of "Possibilities and Applications of Artificial Intelligence". 

Student of class 8th of Swami Atmanand Government Excellence English Medium School, Jawanga Geedam Shailu Vek gave a brilliant presentation and secured first place at the entire zone level. Student of class 10th of Swami Atmanand Government Excellence School Bijapur R. Harshit presented his views on AI and secured second place. Science experts Dr. Vijay Sahu, Amujuri Biswanath, Parth Sarkar played the role of jury and declared the results impartially. They selected Shailu and Harshit for the State Level Science Seminar which to be held in Bilaspur.

 The three judges guided the selected students on how to give a good presentation on artificial intelligence, how to focus on the theme and possibilities, how to concentrate scientific thinking and body language etc. Lecturer Hemlata Sahu managed the stage and entire program smoothly. Lecturer T. Vijay Lakshmi gave detailed information about the rules, selection process and registration process of the science seminar competition. 

Senior lecturer Pushpalatha Baghel, Principal GR Nag, VS Tati, teachers and children from all three districts participated in this program. Guests, officials and judges encouraged the children and inspired them to bring glory to Dantewada zone by participating in the state level science seminar competition actively.
